Solar water heater HELIOAKMI 120L dual energy with Collector 2.10m²

The solar water heater HILIOAKMI (MEGASUN) has excellent quality, excellent performance and resistance in all conditions, ensuring energy savings and environmental protection.

Container characteristics

• Outer casing: anodised aluminium, particularly resistant to UV rays, in humid climates and in coastal areas.
• Jacket: its innovative design of low carbon steel, 1.5 mm thick, for the closed circuit guarantees its stable operation even in frost and at the same time protects the collectors from the risk of clogging by salts.
• Thermal insulation: expanded ecological polyurethane, 50 mm thick and high density (43 kg/m3) which ensures for the consumer more hot water for use, minimizes thermal losses and maintains the hot water temperature, even if the outside temperature is 30°C below zero.
• Inner container: cold rolled steel (low carbon steel), 2.5 mm thick, according to DIN 4800-5. This means twice the resistance of the container to network pressures compared to most common solar water heaters, over time and in areas with particularities in water quality.
• Container protection: achieved with Duro Smalt Elastic. This innovative method of protection is considered the most appropriate for its resistance to very hard water and its elastic properties, allowing it to follow the contractions-expansions of the tank, thus avoiding the risk of cracks created in most tanks with different enamel protection.
• Cathodic protection: magnesium anode for effective internal protection against corrosion and scaling caused by electrolysis reactions.
• Electrical resistance up to 4 kW: made of copper according to regulations of the country of destination. (Optional, to use electricity as an auxiliary energy source).
• Safety thermostat: bipolar four contacts.

Collector features

• Profile: it has 4 ventilation holes that are covered in a completely waterproof manner so that rainwater is not allowed to enter.
• Selective absorber: copper channels (∅10 and ∅22) with selective titanium coating, which are autogenously welded by the Ultrasonic method. With this innovative welding method, absolute heat transfer is achieved and allows the solar collector to have the greatest possible performance and durability.
• Frame: anodized aluminum, particularly resistant to adverse conditions. Special safety glass: unbreakable Tempered glass (thickness 3.5 mm) for high permeability and durability, resistant to adverse weather conditions (eg hail, extreme temperature changes).
• Thermal insulation: strong side and back insulation (20 mm glass wool & 35 mm stone wool), which minimizes heat loss in areas with low seasonal temperatures.
